Neuroscience suggests that we easily store information about the perceived dangers in our lives, and the ability to retain the good can take a little more effort.  With current affairs constantly highlighting the dangers surrounding health, John Lennon’s words may help give us that little nudge to make an extra effort to pause, appreciate and value the good.  For many of us a weekend is a wonderful opportunity to prioritise enjoyment, wherever possible, and boost our inner balance by re-focusing on ‘what’s right and good!’
